My water heater went out and this company was recommended by my home warranty company. The technician came out to assess the water heater for the estimate. He was there for less than 5 minutes and told me everything was perfect and would need zero modifications and the warranty company should cover the water heater so my only out of pocket would be the disposal. I thought "Great!"
However, I was then told by my warranty company that my out of pocket would be over $650 for modifications?! What? I called them and asked for a detailed estimate for these charges and was told they had already provided it to the warranty company and to just reach out to them.
The warranty company notified me the next day that they had approved the estimate and ordered the tank already before reaching out to me. I still was waiting for the itemized estimate for the erroneous modification charges that his tech told me were not needed. $650 is alot to a single mom with 3 kids, I'd like to know exactly why I'm getting charged before just blindly paying someone.
A week goes by and I have no communication from Green Globe, the warranty company has at this point told me all communication should be through them. I finally get ahold of them after a week and a half and his response was "Oh, we figured you had just had a friend help you with it" and basically was writing me off. I explained that no, I have been waiting on the estimate and have called with no response. He then had the itemized estimate sent over and wow....$600 of the $650 was all modifications I was told I didn't need. $50 for disposal. I asked him why and he said, well I have to make money somewhere. I felt very taken advantage of and told him what his tech had told me and he denied every word. I told him he should at least attempt to work with me and he got very defensive before finally telling me he was refusing to install the water heater (that mind you they already had and was ready to go), and laughed saying good luck finding another company.
This company is absolutely horrific and only cares about the money. They lie and tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to pay their surprise fees. They are extremely rude and abraisive if you dare question why they are charging for something.
Terrible customer service, and uncaring staff/owners.

Our water tank went out on Friday morning, we called Tom Friday afternoon and he came out Friday evening. After diagnosis he told me it needed to be replaced. Tom and his crew were out SATURDAY MORNING with the exact same water tank that I currently had. I've used them for other work and they are very reliable and affordable. Great family owned company with family values (something you don't find anymore). They are not only plumbers but are licensed general contractors as well.

Tom from Green Globe plumbing is very responsive and professional. We had 2 separate plumbing issues to repair a shower thermostatic cartridge and replace a circulator timer. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Thank god for Trevor at Green Glove Plumbing and Construction. I’m so glad that I met him through First American Home Warranty because now I have a reputable plumber contact for life, for my home and business. He first helped with a toilet leak and then a water heater/gas fireplace leak. There’s no job that is too much for Trevor. He is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend!
