I called several plumbers after I was overcharged by Barker Brothers for a sewer cleanout. I had roots in my clay sewer pipe causing back up. Barker quote me $15k for a clay pipe sleeve to the street (80 ft). Fanti used a camera and showed me the problem both under my house and outside. He quoted $9k total for trenchless pipe bursting and entirely replacing my clay pipe with poly pipe. He also included descaling/jetting my kitchen line and 50 feet main line under the house. The following day my shower line mysteriously backed up and he came and unclogged a giant hairball for free. Fanti was very responsive, on time, meticulous and explained everything in detail. He used a tamper and backfilled all the dirt. He left everything spotless. He provided a more practical solution than the others for 60% of the price. A brand new wider diameter polyethylene pipe should easily outlast a epoxy sleeve forced into a crumbling 60 year old clay pipe with a narrow diameter. If I ever have any future plumbing problems, I will definitely call Rob Fanti.

Fanti has done great work for me. The team replaced various faucets and toilets, repaired old pipes, fixed shoddy piping from the previous plumber, resolved a drainage issue, and so much more. The team is very knowledgeable and helpful when addressing my questions. Their response is quick and the service is top notch. Kudos to Rob and Felix. Highly recommend!

I attempted a DIY repair trying to swap out my garden hose bib with a new one, and while applying torque to get it off, the 90 degree elbow that connected to it snapped! I also noticed that 90% of the elbow was filled with rust build up. I called about 5 other plumbers for same day fix as this issued wouldnt allow me to turn the water main back on without repair. Fanti was the only company that was able to make a same day stop with in a few hours. Rob was very professional and friendly. We chatted about various interested as he was doing his repair and he even answered my questions about the repair as I watch him do his magic. His repair price was very fair and competitive to others. I would highly recommend him and would certainly refer him to others. I will also keep his contact for future repairs as my primary plumber before seeking out other companies.

gave Rob Fanti a $5,400 job and he caused $6,350 worth of structural damage, which he still refuses to take any responsibility for.
Fanti lacks the proper equipment to really get a job done and relies upon rentals. If I hadn't already had another plumber quote my drain replacement, Fanti would've been unable to locate precisely where the collapse was. In fact, despite having had another plumber visit and show me with his drain snake camera precisely where the drain was collapsed, Fanti's first approach during his own visit when I told him I had a collapsed drain was to say the other plumber was lying to me or inexperienced because "collapsed drains don't usually happen".
Fanti had to rely upon the previous plumber's efforts, because he didn't have the tools to locate the collapse. So when demo began in our kitchen, there was always a risk that the collapse was somewhere else because Fanti cuts corners in his work.
Even at the very end, when the company he contracted to do the pipe burst was ready to go, he tried to convince me to run the epoxy drain liner. He threatened that "the pipe burst machine could get stuck underground and then wherever it gets stuck we'll need to demo, whether it's your kitchen cabinets, kitchen floor, sink, anything that's there we'll need to demo to get the machine unstuck". He tried using fear to convince me to go the epoxy drain liner route. Highly unethical.
The job was supposed to take 1 day but ended up taking 3 days. On the third day, Fanti was very clearly over the job and they rushed connecting our laundry drain to the new pipe. Fanti decided, without any consultation from me, to cut through 6 2x4 wooden support beams in a load bearing wall over our foundation. In this wall, two major beams supporting our home's structure actually intersect. If there is any wall you would want to avoid weakening the integrity of, in the entire home, this is literally THE wall.
I was horrified and repeatedly asked Fanti if it would be ok structurally. He lied to my face and said "you won't have any problems with that wall". Fanti refused to do anything to repair the wall.
I decided to get a second opinion from my gen contractor a few days later. He saw the wall and was equally shocked. I told Fanti, and again asked if he would repair the wall. He refused, and accused my contractor of being dishonest.
A few weeks later and the major support beam snapped, causing the wall to sag 1/4". At this point I decided it was pointless to go back to Fanti; he's dishonest & despite numerous requests for him to pick up and dispose of the 700+ pounds of concrete he left in my driveway (which was in the SOW), he refused to do so.
I then decided to get a third opinion because this seemed like it was going to lead to serious repercussions for Fanti and his business, and may require litigation to recoup our costs. So I had a structural engineer visit. Due to the extent of the structural damage and the fact that a beam had already snapped, they categorized my repair as an emergency and had it completed within 5 days. They had to use a 2 ton jack to raise the structural beam back to its original position.
I also had to separately hire workers to help dispose of the 700lbs of concrete at a landfill.
After all of this, I was thankful that Yelp honored their guarantee and reimbursed us $2,500 of the $6,350 repair cost. However, we are still out $3,800 and are pursuing other remedies to recoup our costs because Fanti still to this day refuses to take any responsibility for the damage he personally caused to our home.
Unfortunately, we have also recently learned that Fanti did not reapply a vapor barrier (thick plastic) before pouring the concrete, which leads to a buildup of moisture below the slab and compromises the integrity of the slab. Concrete is also porous, so after heavy rain moisture gets into the room and increases the overall humidity.
In summary, I would not even hire Rob Fanti to unclog a drain. The number of corners he cuts in his work is truly astonishing.

I couldn't recommend these guys more.
We're local to Costa Mesa, and needed quality drain and sewer maintenance in a pinch.
Fanti came through with flying colors. They were able to camera our drain system to diagnose the problem perfectly, use an arsenal of quality tools to clear out blockages, with a follow up camera inspection to ascertain that the problem has been resolved.
To work done was a couple of weeks ago, and things have been rocking ever since. No drain problems whatsoever.
These guys can also do descaling for those who need it. They use today's best tools for that as well, the Picote system.
It was Rob and David who came out to our call, man these guys are communicative, friendly, capable, fast, and get the job done. Thank you kindly, gentlemen.
I will definitely be calling Fanti again for the services they specialize in. 💯
