We have been with Boyd for many years now and have had a great experience. Prompt calls when alarm is set off and great customer service. We are currently upgrading our system and they are very knowledgeable with products available. No hard sales pitch just great support.

Low quality customer service.. have a basic alarm account with Boyd that I inherited when I acquired a business serviced by Boyd. Didn’t know much about them and signed a 3 year agreement. My experience thus far is they have low quality customer service and inflexible alarm services compared to the company I have used at my other office for the past 5 years. I inquired about setting up a video surveillance system and it seems very technical and excessive for them to set me up with something to has an app that I could use on my phone…. not to mention it would cost me a lot to have this set up. Seems like a pretty standard service any alarm company should offer. The other company I have used has a fixed $69/month 3 year contract with a one time $100 set up fee and they bring me 3 cameras, install them and give me an app that allows me to see the premises in real time without a dollar extra. Wish I never signed this lousy contract, know what’s you are getting before you dive in! I have called their main office number for 3 weeks now to try to get all my options for video and have left 2 messges and have received 0 calls back. I have even emailed them without a response. Will be cancelling my agreement as quickly as possible
