It's a very small "garden". It's more like a peaceful resting/lunch spot for people to take a break during work. There's a water fountain, some sculptures, and a bench with some trees around it. There are other benches around to sit on, but the popular spot was the bench with the trees around it. There is also a little coffee shop within the plaza. I didn't try, but it looked nice.

A hidden garden amongst a concrete jungle of corporate offices, Noguchi Gardens uses natural elements and architectural features to represent California’s climate and landscape. This garden is free of cost, but finding free parking is tricky. We spent a total of 30 minutes here. You could most certainly stay longer though. Would definitely come check this place out at least once if you’re in the area!

I can’t believe this gem of a place exists and is so accessible! I’m a wedding photographer and my bride & groom wanted to do their portraits in Noguchi Gardens and it was stunning! So much fun architecture and minimalist greenery that helps soften the texture of the space. I love that parking is available too!

A nice garden between office buildings. Nice spot for photography with lots of different backgrounds and water features. Not the best I have ever seen, but it’s a short walk from the South Coast Plaza. Great place if you are looking to take some great pictures. My advice, park at South Coast Plaza where parking is free and then walk to the garden. Parking nearby is all paid parking, and while not terribly expensive why not just make an afternoon out of it and spend some time at South Coast as well!

Noguchi Garden is a place that feels unreal. I wanted to get away from studies for a while and go somewhere far, a place where I can forget it all. After looking through the maps for a while, I find the Noguchi Garden. After reading a bit of its history behind the art, I realize that it could be a nice place to visit. I got to the garden through the bus south and then walked on foot towards the garden. It was a little awkward since I was a casual student with a huge backpack walking down business buildings with people in fancy attire walking down and lightly staring. After a bit, I made it. It felt so unreal, something about the environment was so soothing to me. It may not be for everyone, as it can be boring for some people. But for other people like me, just sitting on the bench and staring at the whole landscape is just, serene. I loved it and I’ve visited two more times after school. Nobody was ever really there, it always felt like a safe haven. A place to get away from the metropolitan city and scholarly stress for once.
